Recent winter flooding in Carlow is coming under the spotlight today
The OPW is addressing a 6-hour public meeting on flood risk and management in the county.
They’ll be concentrating this meeting on three areas in particular – Carlow Town, Leighlinbridge, and Tullow.
Councillor Tommy Kinsella was involved in rescuing people from their houses in the Tinnahinch and St Mullins areas during the floods over Christmas.
He told KCLR news he hopes those areas will be looked at in future.
