Aidan “Taggy” Fogarty has been impressed by Tullaroan’s forward line as they prepare to face Ballyhale Shamrocks in the Kilkenny Senior Hurling Championship final.
Dave Mulcahy’s side booked their place in the decider with victory over Bennettsbridge in last weekend’s semi-final.
They will face defending champions Ballyhale at UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday, October 25th, with throw-in at 1.45pm and full live commentary on KCLR.
Speaking to KCLR, Fogarty highlighted the pace and understanding within the Tullaroan attack, while questioning how they might fare if opponents found a way to disrupt their approach.
“I think their forward line is exceptional, and that is their strong point. I think their forward line are very fast and pacey forwards, play well together. But if you upset their tactics, I would love to see how they would go then.”
Tullaroan will hope their attacking threat can help them overcome Ballyhale and claim their first senior county title since 1994.
