Dr. Millar, AKA Seán Millar is one of Ireland’s finest songwriters and is rightly regarded as one of the finest of his generation. In my humble opinion, if he’d just penned that one song (“Waking Up In London”) his reputation would be assured but thankfully for his many fans he has far more material than that and we’re all the better for it. He’s not afraid to look at the dark side of life but he has a playful side as we hear in this Studio 2 Session. We also chat about his previous and current band projects and his approach to songwriting.
