Former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds is being remembered for his role in bringing peace to Northern Ireland, after the announcement of his death this morning.
The 81-year-old – who had been battling Alzheimer’s in recent years – is survived by his wife Kathleen and their 7 children.
The Roscommon native served as a minister in several government departments and was twice elected Taoiseach.
