Former IFA President unsure if beef forum will see tensions over prices brought to a close

Farmers are angry and disappointed that so little has been achieved after weeks of talks over the beef prices.

So says former IFA President John Bryan who has been speaking with farmers demonstrating in South Kilkenny in recent days as they continue their protest outside meat factories.

A 48 hour demonstration that started on Sunday is due to finish up this afternoon (3pm)

The Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney is hopeful that tomorrows beef forum will see the tensions brought to a close.

But John Bryan isnt so sure
