Former IFA President John Bryan has ruled out seeking a nomination to run as a Fine Gael candidate in the European Elections in May.
The Inistioge farmer had been approached by the party to run as a candidate in the Ireland South Constituency.
He says the new make up of the constituency and also the parties decision to run three candidates would put him at a disadvantage.
