Four cars believed to be involved in county Kilkenny crash

UPDATE (11:30am, Thursday 5th March) No serious injuries sustained in this morning’s incident. Gardaí locally say four cars were involved.

Up to four cars are understood to be involved in a crash in south Kilkenny.

Eye-witnesses have told KCLR News it happened just before 8am on the N25 Waterford / New Ross route about a mile from the Rhu Glenn on the Glenmore side in county Kilkenny at the Rathinure junction, locally known as the picnic area.

Some vehicles are stopped in the middle of the stretch so motorists are asked to avoid if possible and if not to approach with caution.

It’s not yet known if anybody’s been injured.

Gardaí and paramedics are at the scene.
