Freezing temperatures to return this evening but milder temperatures to return to Carlow and Kilkenny next week

With a yellow weather warning in place today, Motorists across Carlow and Kilkenny are being warned of freezing temperatures again this evening and tonight.

Sub zero temperatures have been slowly lifting today after lowest temperatures of the year were reached last night.

Alan O’Reilly of Carlowweather.com says temperatures will drop again early this evening before some milder temperatures return.
