A local dance troupe is preparing to represent Ireland on the world stage.
CMD, based in Callan, has been selected to compete in the Dance World Cup, an event often compared to the Olympics of the dance world.
Twenty-seven dancers from the group will travel to Spain in July to participate. However, they require financial assistance. While parents have covered the costs of their own and their children’s travel and accommodations, additional expenses remain.
