Today is the third day of national fuel protests, with motorways, ports, depots and refineries now the focus of the campaign.
Around 150 vehicles travelled in a slow moving convoy along the M9 early this morning before stopping at Junction 9 at Danesfort, blocking the northbound lanes while the northbound slip was also blocked.
The blockade was lifted shortly before 5pm with protestors set to return to the same location early tomorrow morning where they will continue their action.
These protestors, including Hugginstown-based Paschal O’Shea, told KCLR News why they had joined the blockade.
