There’s a funding boost on the way for local Tidy Towns Groups.
The money is being made available as Tidy Towns marks its 60th anniversary.
It allows local committees to apply for grant funding to support the work they do in the community.
Under the scheme villages are eligible to receive 1 thousand euro, small towns would get 2 thousand and larger towns 3 thousand.
While bigger urban centres would qualify for 4 thousand euro
