The Carlow man who died in hospital after becoming ill in prison at the weekend will be laid to rest today.
30 year old Pascal Doyle originally from the Staplestown road in the town was an inmate at Mountjoy prison
The young father was found unconscious in his cell at the weekend and later died in hospital.
His funeral takes place in Askea today after which he will be laid to rest in St Marys cemetery.
