Further meetings for Carlow & Kilkenny nurses ahead of vote on Labour court proposals

The INMO says more meetings will happen locally before its members vote on Labour court pay proposals.

A gathering took place in the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny last night where it was explained to members what exactly is on offer.

Nurses and midwives are to be balloted on the proposals between the 11th and 25th of March.

Kilkenny-based industrial relations officer with the INMO, Liz Curran says there are plenty more meetings still to take place across the region including in Waterford, Tipperary and Wexford.

Liz told KCLR there’s also a schedule of meetings arranged at each of the Health service locations across Carlow and Kilkenny.
