There are two results from the North Kilkenny Junior hurling championship last night.
Barrow Rangers overcame Bennettsbridge by 11 points and Blacks and Whites beat St Martins by 9.
Meanwhile Piltown overcame Mullinavat by a single point to secure the South Junior hurling league title.
In the only other fixture of the night, Erins Own beat James Stephens in the north junior B hurling championship.
In the All Ireland qualifiers,
O’Connor Park in Tullamore will host a fascinating qualifier double-header this evening.
First-up will be the meeting of Cork and Sligo in a 5 o’clock throw-in.
The second game of the evening is the meeting of Galway and Tipperary. That game throws in at 7.
