Garda Air Support unit assists in search for missing Carlow woman

The Garda air support unit was in Carlow again this morning to assist with the search for a woman missing since last Friday.

The 49 year old is believed to have gone into the river at Montgomery Street but recovery efforts so far have been unsuccessful.

Speaking to KCLR news Sergeant John Foley appealed to locals to report anything of concern in the river to them.

And he has thanked all of the local and national services that assisted in what’s been a difficult few days for them.
