Gardaí advising of traffic restrictions ahead of Borris Fair tomorrow

Gardaí are advising visitors to the annual Borris Fair tomorrow that a number of traffic restrictions will be in place.

There will be no through traffic in the village with Garda checkpoints being set up from today on all entry points to Borris.

However, there will be a detour in operation around the village, which is suitable for lighter traffic.

Meanwhile, parking facilities will be provided, and Gardaí are urging visitors to the fair to please adhere to these restrictions.

Thousands of people are expected to descend on the village tomorrow for the annual fair.
