Gardaí appeal for information after car fails to stop and crashes near slieverue

Gardai are still trying to track down occupants of a car which failed to stop before crashing in south kilkenny.

The blue Honda hatchback was fleeing in the Waterford city direction from a patrol in slieverue village when it struck railings in the milepost area at about 10:30 on Friday night.

Those travelling in it fled the scene, the vehicle was seized and has undergone a technical exam.
