A pedestrian is currently in hospital following an accident in Kilkenny earlier this afternoon.
The incident occurred at Lidl on the Waterford Road in the city at around 2 o’clock when a woman was struck by a car as she crossed the pedestrian crossing at the entrance to the carpark.

The woman, who’s in her late 60s, is now being treated for minor injuries in St Luke’s Hospital.
