Gardaí confirm they are investigating Ballyragget celebrations

Gardaí in Kilkenny have confirmed they are investigating the celebrations that took place in Ballyragget on Tuesday night.
Photographs and videos from a party involving members of St Patrick’s Ballyragget GAA Club have been widely circulated online showing what appear to be sexual acts being performed in a pub.
The Intermediate County Hurling trophy, which the club won last weekend, is being used in much of the footage.
St Patrick’s GAA club have said that the event in question was a private one, not in any way organised by them.
One of the women hired for the controversial celebration has spoken to KCLR about the night.
The woman who goes by the name of Fi Fi says she was there as part of the celebrations for the team’s Intermediate County Final win, along with a 21st birthday party.
Kilkenny Gardaí have now confirmed to KCLR News that they are investigating the matter but have declined to comment on whether or not a complaint has been made.
