Gardaí in Carlow and Kilkenny remind households to be more security conscious

Gardaí across both counties are reminding households to be more security conscious.

Its after a number of thefts of cash, jewellery and power tools from properties in Carlow and Kilkenny over the past month.

Garda Mark Nolan told KCLR News; “If you have an idea of how to enhance your security at home it’s not going to be a bad idea, it’s going to give you peace of mind and secondly what we would say is if at all possible a CCTV camera, make it as difficult as possible for would-be thieves, CCTV cameras will help us in identifing the thieves and will also give you peace of mind in your own home”.
