Gardaí investigating after large amount of diesel stolen in Kilkenny

Kilkenny Gardai want your help after a large amount of diesel was taken from a building site in the city at the weekend.

They say the fuel, which is being used by machines working on the site beside Cillin Hill was taken between 6pm on Friday last and 8am on Monday morning.

Sgt Ted Hughes says they suspect a large trailer and van were used to take it away such was the amount stolen.
