Gardaí issue speed limit warning after reckless driving incidents in Kilkenny

Gardaí are reminding motorists to abide by the recommended speed limits.

This reminder follows an incident yesterday in which a motorist was caught speeding at 174 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the N25 in South Kilkenny at Slieverue, and another driver was observed overtaking a jeep and trailer on the N76 road between Callan and Kilkenny, at a notorious accident blackspot.

Gardaí are warning drivers that they will be prosecuted and face the possibility of a court summons for engaging in dangerous driving.
