Gardaí look for witnesses after petrol bomb in Carlow last night

Carlow Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a petrol bomb caused major damage to a car and house last night.

The incident happened in Tinteáncoille, on the Pollerton Road in Carlow Town at about 10.40pm.

Gardaí say a petrol bomb was thrown into a car which was severely damaged and the flames then set fire to the house.

No one was injured and the scene is being preserved for a technical examination this morning.
