Gardai recover drugs in planned searches of 10 homes in Carlow town

Gardaí in Carlow recovered a quantity of controlled drugs during several searches yesterday.

They searched 10 separate houses under warrant in Carlow town.

A quantity of cannabis and heroin was seized among other drugs.

A file is being prepared for the DPP.

Gardaí say the search was a part of an initiative to clamp down on heroin use in the town.
