Gardaí have renewed their appeal for information about the murder of Fiona Pender on the 30th anniversary of her disappearance.
Five people were arrested and detained in connection with the investigation.
Fiona Pender was 25 years old when she was last seen at approximately 6am on Friday, August 23rd 1996 in her flat on Church Street in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.
She was seven months pregnant at the time of her disappearance and her body has never been found.
Over the last 30 years the investigation teams discovered and collated thousands of documents and reports, taken over 300 statements of evidence and retained a number of exhibits.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who met or saw Fiona that morning or who has any information about her disappearance and murder to contact Tullamore Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line – no matter how small or insignificant you might believe it to be.
