Gardai warn locals to be alert to bogus-callers

You’re being warned about a number of scams doing the rounds locally.

Gardai say older people in particular are being targetted and in some cases being followed home by people after collecting their pensions.

Its been happening in both Carlow and Kilkenny and Community Sergeant Gary Gordon says you need to be really wary of bogus callers to your home.
