Gas should be restored to all today following outage in Kilkenny city

Gas networks Ireland says any remaining customers without supply in Kilkenny city should be sorted today

They are making door-to-door calls today to restore supply to the final few without after water entered the network last week causing an outage in the city.

Crews worked through the weekend on the issue that affected homes and businesses in Maudlin St, Wolfe Tone St, Michael St and part of John St.

Most have their supply back by now but those who haven’t will be getting a visit today as the crews need access to each premises in order to do it safely.
