Local Gardai are using Road Safety Week to remind drivers to get your car ‘Winter Ready’
A number of garages across Carlow and Kilkenny will be offering free tyre checks on Wednesday which is National Tyre Safety Day.

Meanwhile Friday is ‘Beep Beep Day’ – Inspector Audrey Dormer of the Kilkenny/Carlow Traffic division says its directed specifically at young children.
Gardai will visit créches in the region to talk about seatbelts and road safety matters with youngsters.
