Glanbia has agreed a multi-million euro deal to buy a US sports nutrition brand.
The Kilkenny based food group will pay 118 million euro for Isopure -an American business focused on specialist sports powders and ready to drink formulas.
Its understood it will compliment the companys Global Performance Nutrition portfolio.
The deal is expected to go through by the end of the year.
