We heard first from Phelim O’Neill of the Irish Farmer’s Journal about the current speculation and emerging clarity on the Brexit issue in the light of recent British Government announcements and its particular impact on Irish agriculture.
Pat Moylan from Teagasc spoke to us about grass utilisation and spoke an upcoming conference on the issue.
We heard then from Pat Griffin from the Health And Safety Authority on issues around farm safety and the need for vigilance at this busy time of the year but of course they apply at any time. His statistics make for sober reading.
