Goal Mile events expected to attract thousands over Festival period

Thousands of people are expected to take part in a traditional festive fundraiser across Carlow and Kilkenny.

11 Goal Mile events are taking place locally across the festive period with 3 of them taking place today.

Walkers and runners will set off from Palatine GAA club at 11am this morning with other events at Danesfort GAA and Mullinavat GAA also getting under way at the same time.
