Goresbridge residents foil break-in at their local pharmacy

A man is due to appear in court in connection with an attempted break-in in Co Kilkenny on Friday.

It happened in the early hours of the morning at Goresbridge pharmacy.

Gardaí were called after locals heard noises to the rear of the business.

They quickly arrived on scene and a man was arrested.

He has since been charged and is due before the courts next week.
