Carlow’s soup kitchen is celebrating it’s first birthday today.
This day last year the Poor Clare’s Soup Kitchen in Graiguecullen first opened it’s doors.
Speaking to KCLR recently, volunteers there said that they are now catering for up to 100 people three days a week.
They open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
