Secondary Schools in Kilkenny are to benefit from a BT Financial Grant.
BT are the organisers and sponsors of the Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition which is held in Dublin each year.
They’ve confirmed that they will continue its significant financial aid package for Kilkenny Schools to participate in the 2016 BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition.
In 2015 BT provided 75 thousand euro in grant funding to 139 schools across the island of Ireland.
4 thousand, 200 hundred euro of that grant went to schools in Kilkenny.
Schools located over 70km from the RDS in Dublin, where the exhibition is held are eligible to apply for a grant of €150 per individual entry and €300 for a group.
The maximum amount of money available to any one school is €1,500.
