Grants awarded for protected structures in Kilkenny

137 thousand euro has been granted to fix and conserve protected structures in Kilkenny.
The funding is being granted to 15 buildings and structures in the county.
The projects to receive funding under the Built Heritage Jobs Leverage Scheme 2014 are:

St. Mary’s Cathedral, James’s Street, Kilkenny Historic window glass conservation €10,000
Gowran Castle, Gowran, Co. Kilkenny Internal structure and feature repairs €8,230
Gowran House, Main Street, Gowran, Masonry/brick/lime render repairs €9,960
Skerry’s Castle, West Street, Callan Masonry/brick/lime render repairs €7,820
The Workhouse, Callan Masonry/brick/lime render repairs €10,000
Fennelly’s, Bridge Street, Callan Roof repairs €6,550
