Great British Bakeoff presenter heading for Top Gear?

Great British Bake Off host Sue Perkins is the new favourite to replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear according to one bookmaker.
Coral say she’s evens to take the job, ahead of Dermot O’Leary and Jodie Kidd.
Coral spokeswoman Nicola McGeady was quoted on the topic earlier saying “This latest gamble suggests that Sue Perkins is being lined up to replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear.”
“When betting first opened on Clarkson’s successor, it was one-way traffic for Jodie Kidd and now today’s flutter has convinced us that a female is in the driving seat”.
Clarkson’s contract wasn’t renewed after an internal investigation found he attacked his producer.
He’ll be back on the BBC later this month hosting Have I Got News For You, despite being suspended in the way of the Top Gear production incident.
The debate also rages on as to whether the series should be packed in with the change of dynamic or if co-hosts James May and Richard Hammond will also return without Jeremy Clarkson in pole position.
