Heavy fog making driving conditions difficult

Heavy fog is making for dangerous driving conditions on the work and school run this morning.

Gardai are warning that extra care is needed where the fog is dense and use your lights

A multi car crash was cleared near the Rhu Glen earlier by Mooncoin Gardai.

Nobody was injured but the Gardai say fog in the area is pretty bad. Kilkenny city is particularly bad this morning too.

Meanwhile emergency services are still at the scene of a crash on the Kilkenny to Waterford road at the Harvester bar.

2 cars are involved – Gardai, fire and ambulance services are attending.
