Heifer Calf born during Storm Éowyn is thriving on Kilkenny farm

While the entire country was under a red warning on Friday and Storm Éowyn battered the landscape, a local farmer had to brave the elements to tend to his livestock.

During the storm, a little calf was born on a farm near Coolagh in Kilkenny, and it has since been named Éowyn. Local Councillor Joe Lyons told KCLR News that farmers must continue their work regardless of the weather conditions.
