Homelessness figures have fallen slightly in Carlow and Kilkenny in the past month as 83 people seek emergency accomodation.
That’s according to the latest figures published by the Department of Housing.
There’s four less people seeking emergency accomodation in Carlow and Kilkenny compared to July.
It’s the lowest in the South East as Waterford had 102 followed by 68 in Wexford, and 61 in Tipperary.
Nationally, however, there’s more people in need of emergency accomodation with 14,486 people homeless. That’s up by 57 people.
4,419 of those are children.
