Homes in Graiguenamanagh & Tinnahinch without running water again

Water tankers and standpipes have been set up for residents of Graiguenamanagh and Tinnahinch as they remain without a supply for a third day running.

A series of breaks in the mains supply started on Tuesday and many locals have had no running water since.

Carlow County Council are providing water tankers in Tinnahinch and Kilkenny County Council have set up a standpipe on Lower Main Street in Graiguenamanagh and another on High street in the town.

Many of the homes affected were at the heart of a flooding crisis just last week.
