A local Councillor says he hopes the government will provide funding for a new fire station in Bagenalstown.
The local fire service attended a recent council meeting, where they estimated a new station would cost in the region of 400 thousand euro.
Arthur Mc Donald told KCLR that a possible site has already been agreed for the new station.
Cllr McDonald told KCLR News that there have also been talks of a by-pass for Bagenalstown for decades now and he hopes the same doesn’t happen with this.
