Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a burglary in Myshall last night.
At around 7 o’clock yesterday evening Gardaí say the housekeeper of the parochial house in the village answered the door to two males.
They entered the house and tied up the woman who’s in her mid-50s.
The incident lasted for about a half an hour in total and it’s not yet known what, if anything was taken.
The housekeeper is said to have been left traumatised but unharmed.
The two men are described as being in their late teens or early twenties and were tall and wearing dark coloured hoodies.
Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area between 6 and 8 is asked to contact either Carlow or Bagenalstown Gardaí.
