A Tullow housing estate has won a national housing award.
RESPOND! picked up the prize for Most Creative Supply Response at the Community Housing awards, for completing the NAMA owned ghost estate at Oakley Wood.
55 unfinished houses at the development were completed for the benefit of families in need of housing in the Tullow area last year.
The family estate is now supported by a community facility where RESPOND! work with residents developing programmes and supports for children, teenagers and adults.
The award ceremony took place at the National Social Housing Conference in Tullamore yesterday.
