Carlow County Council is getting set to welcome the Housing Minister today.
Eoghan Murphy will be down to turn the sod on 26 houses in Carlow Town and officially open 24 others in Bagenalstown.

He’ll be arriving at 2 o’clock and it’s also expected that he will make an announcement regarding plans for around 80 other houses in the town.
Carlow Deputy Pat Deering was one of those who invited him down.

He told KCLR News the Minister will be shown around the town first.
