How some local roadworks may impact your travel plans in parts of Carlow and Kilkenny

It’s a busy start to the week for commuters across Carlow and Kilkenny with several road closures in place for resurfacing works.

Church Road and High Street in Bagenalstown are closed from 6am this (Monday) morning until Wednesday evening, with a full detour in place and a strict “no parking” rule on those streets while works are underway.

In Kilkenny, the L8238 at Ruppa is closed today between Mungmacody and Rossroe until 7pm, while tomorrow will see the L8239 at Cappagh closed for similar works.
