HSE agrees to fund cancer drug for Carlow woman

The HSE has agreed to fund a drug to help treat a Carlow woman diagnosed with terminal breast cancer.

Margaret Ready has spent the last number of months making an appeal to the Health service to make TDM1 available to her and others with the condition.

Now the treatment that will prolong Margarets life has been approved.

She told KCLR Live this morning its given her a real lift.
