The HSE has begun the roll-out of its autumn/winter vaccination programme across the south east.
Free Flu and COVID19 vaccines are being offered to recommended groups.
Both vaccines are recommended for those who have a long term health condition as well as pregnant women and healthcare workers.
The Covid19 booster is advised for those aged 50 and over, with the flu jab aimed at those aged over 65.
They can be given together or separately and are available from participating GPs and pharmacists in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Waterford and South Tipperary.
HSE vaccination teams are also provideing both vaccines for people living in residential care facilities, including nursing homes, as well as to housebound patients.
Health and careworkers can avail of their shots at HSE workplaces across the region.
