“I thought my house was on fire” says county Carlow resident as Mount Leinster smoulders

A former Green Party Minister says she woke up and thought her county Carlow house was on fire – such was the level of smoke in the air. 

Mary White earlier told KCLR News of the scenes she witnessed at the foot of Mount Leinster where she runs Blackstairs Eco Trails.

She later joined Francis Nesbitt on The KCLR Daily to discuss this further;
