The Taoiseach’s insisted if he wasn’t from Wicklow he’d like to be from Kilkenny.
Following a brief stop-off in Carlow, Simon Harris moved onto the Marble City to officially launch the 51st Kilkenny Arts Festival.
Find the full programme here though organisers advise you keep an eye on the festival socials for additions and updates which you’ll also get on KCLR – you can also listen back to those who attended the exhibition of the late Ross Costigan here.
KCLR News’ Michael Bergin was at the event to capture the Taoiseach’s speech;
Michael also spoke with other attendees, beginning with Minister of State, Carlow Kilkenny Green TD Malcolm Noonan;
