The public in Carlow and Kilkenny are being thanked for their support of projects during Mental Health week.
Hundreds of people took part in talks, workshops and events in both counties aimed at improving positive mental health.
Organisers noted that there was a marked increase in the number of people involving themselves in projects and initiatives this year.
Joanne Donogue of the Carlow mental health forum feels people are now more willing to engage in discussing mental health than in the past.
